I have a passion for meeting individuals and organizations at their point of need as they aim to prioritize wellness to foster growth. I am a Florida licensed mental health counselor and a Georgia licensed professional counselor. 

Utilizing my training and experience as a psychotherapist, counselor educator, and Christian minister, I assist individuals, couples, families and groups  discover effective solutions to life’s challenges. I provide training and consulting services to organizations globally in the areas of wellness, diversity, resilience, effective communication, mindset, crisis management, and more. 

I am also an Associate Professor of Counseling at Liberty University and also serve the local church. Prior to Liberty I served as the Dean of the School of Counseling and Assistant Professor of Counseling at Richmont Graduate University in Atlanta.

While I primarily offer counseling services in Florida and Georgia through telehealth, I will soon be expanding to others states through the Counseling Compact, an agreement between various U.S. states that allows eligible counselors to provide mental health services in another participating state. 

I received my Master of Science in Education (M.S.Ed.) from the University of Miami and my Master Of Divinity (M.Div.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Psychology and Counseling from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. I also have a Master of Theology (Th.M.) from NOBTS.

I am a professional member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and the Christian Association for Psychological Studies (CAPS). My clinical experience includes working in schools, residential group homes, psychiatric hospitals and private centers. Prior to joining Richmont I served as an adjunct professor with Florida Memorial University in Miami, FL, and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, South Florida Extension Center. My pastoral experience includes serving on staff in churches in New Orleans and Miami, in addition to conducting training workshops and seminars for pastors and church leaders in various regions. I now pastor a local church in South Florida.

Personal

I’m originally from Guadeloupe (French West Indies), grew up in South Florida, and have lived in Louisiana and Georgia. I do speak French and Creole and enjoy working with and meeting people from diverse cultures. I have a beautiful, loving wife, and we’ve been blessed with seven precious children. Apart from working, I enjoy running, working out, playing the piano, and most of all spending time with my family and friends.
